Firework shows need to be announced/limited/ended other than the July 4th. Last friday, October Laguna Hills High had the loudspeakers for annoucing, rock music and then fireworks. At first it didn't bother me but our dogs went crazy with the fireworks. I wasn't home at the time, but I need to be informed so I can leave the city with my dogs. They were also hyperventilating till 3-4 in the morning because of the fireworks so close to our neighborhood.

Firework shows need to be announced/limited/ended other than the July 4th. Last friday, October Laguna Hills High had the loudspeakers for annoucing, rock music and then fireworks. At first it didn't bother me but our dogs went crazy with the fireworks. I wasn't home at the time, but I need to be informed so I can leave the city with my dogs. They were also hyperventilating till 3-4 in the morning because of the fireworks so close to our neighborhood.

There seems to be a lack of traffic enforcement and criminal enforcement near or around the skate park. Use to see Sheriff motorcycles and Deputies around Alicia Parkway and Paseo De valencia

There are two girls who reside in Laguna Hills, who played on the Aliso Viejo Girls Softball 8U All Star team, that will be honored in the City of AV on August 5 for winning the Carlsbad Seabreeze tournament. I don't know if there's any city recognition for these two athletes in Laguna Hills? We're thrilled they chose to play in Aliso, and just really were assets to the team. Future LHHS softball players for sure.

The Dashcund New Years parade is a very popular tradition in many states (Key West, Huntington Beach, San Diego etc). It draws a great crowd of pet owners and is a great community event. The Dashcund New Years parade is a very popular tradition in many states (Key West, Huntington Beach, San Diego etc). It draws a great crowd of pet owners and is a great community event. I have talked to the MV animal control about holding this event in the past, however now that Laguna Hills is partnered with them it may be a good time to discuss this again. I would be happy to help organize a committee and plan.

Recently I took a large group of people to Big Air only to discover after 20 minutes that their air conditioning was broken. This place was so hot, it felt like a breeding ground for COVID-19. I told the manager that this was jeopardizing that heath and safety of everyone, but he was not about to close shut down for the day or give a refund. There should be a place were people can report businesses that are not being careful during this pandemic. I realize the city can't shut them down, but if we the people had a place to report our concerns, it would alert others of places to avoid. I would not want anyone to take their children or grand children to a place like this.

Currently there is no legal path from Laguna Woods Village to the Mall. It would be certainly desirable for the owners of over 1300 golf carts to have a golf cart access to 5 Lagunas Mall along La Plata and Healthcenter.

Outdoor exercise happens mornings everyday. Would be great to provide shade at the hopscotch area.
Basketball hoop at the Court is missing.

Pickle ball is growing in popularity and we have to drive miles to play. There are areas where courts could be added to parks.Costeau Park on Alicia has a back area with some work two courts could be added. Also the Park on MacKenzie as a big grass area which no one is ever using. Please consider adding courts in our area. With Covid the sport has exploded and is easy to play for all ages. It is easier to play than tennis and the courts are smaller. Please consider finding areas to play that are free to everyone. Thank you for considering this.
