The Laguna Hills City Council unanimously took positions on legislation affecting the City’s interest.
The City Council voted to support Senate Bill 904 (Bates). SB 904 requires a more comprehensive education on the dangers of drug use and abuse for those individuals who are serving time or on probation for drug trafficking.
The City Council also voted to opposed Assembly Bill 2011 (Wicks). AB 2011 usurps local control by making affordable housing by-right in areas currently zoned for office, retail, or parking.
